Breakfast Meeting-Wealth Planning For LGBT Couples

Date: Wednesday, November 2, 2011
Time: 8:00 AM - 9:30 AM
Location: Crowne Plaza, 66 Hale Avenue, White Plains
Speaker: Alan I. Wolberg, Morgan Stanley Smith Barney
This will be the first breakfast seminar of the 2011-2012 season.  Reservations are limited to Estate Planning Council members only, on a first come, first served basis.  In addition, guest reservations may be accepted if space is available 7 days prior to meeting date.
Only thirty seats are available as we are striving for a seminar-like, informal session, with participation by all in attendance.  We look forward to an enlightening group discussion.
No reservations will be accepted at the door and no one may attend without an advance reservation and payment.  There will be no refund after a reservation has been accepted.
As these programs are usually over-subscribed, we suggest that you submit your reservation as soon as possible.
Michael Weitzner, Esq.
Chair, Education Committee

Wealth Planning for LGBT Couples was created to provide an up to date view of both the legislative environment and the planning concerns that revolve around being in an LGBT relationship, whether married, domestic partnership, civil union or living together.   Areas to be discussed include:
  • Current Legislative Environment and the status of the Federal Defense of Marriage Act (DOMA).
  • Planning Concerns of LGBT Couples, whether in a state that allows gay marriage or otherwise.
